Nisthora for tyre manufacturing and retreading.
Curing presses, extruders and building machines run fixed cycles, which makes tyre plants a natural fit for OEE. Nisthora tracks every cure cycle, every stop and every temperature, and keeps the batch record recalls depend on.
What gets in the way.
Long cure cycles
A press that starts late or runs a slow cycle loses tyres that cannot be made up later in the shift.
Temperature and pressure matter
A cure that runs outside its range can spoil the tyre without anyone noticing at the time.
Recall traceability
Every tyre carries a code for when and where it was made. You need to know what else was made with it.
What Nisthora connects to and measures.
Machines
- Curing presses
- Extruders and calenders
- Tyre-building machines
- Buffing and retread machines
- Bead and cutting machines
- Inspection stations
Readings
- Cure cycle count and time
- Platen and steam temperature
- Bladder pressure
- Run / stop signal
- Good and rejected tyres
- Energy use per press
Typical stop reasons
- Mould change
- Bladder change
- Steam pressure low
- Waiting for green tyre
- Cleaning
- Quality hold
These are common examples. Each plant names its own machines and lines, and sets up its own stop reasons, in the words its team uses.
Batch, legally required
In the US, 49 CFR Part 574 requires a DOT code on every sidewall, showing the plant, week and year, so tyres can be recalled. Nisthora's batch records link each run to its press, shift, readings and stops.
A day with Nisthora
A retreading plant sets a temperature alert on each curing press. When one press's steam temperature drifts, the supervisor's phone gets the alert, the press panel shows the stop as Steam pressure low, and the batch record shows exactly which tyres were in the press at the time.
